Kelly Davis Freeman
Kelly Freeman Davis is from Brentwood, TN. She was a 2 sport high school athlete and received a full scholarship to the University of Florida. Kelly played guard/forward for the Lady Gators Basketball team from 1996-2000 and was voted co-captain by her teammates.Kelly received her degree in Exercise & Sport Science and has gone on to have a stellar pharmaceutical sales career. She is a devoted wife and mother of three beautiful girls. Kelly is an excellent role model for current student-athletes and her advice on transitioning from athlete to career professional is spot on!
Christopher Hill is from Mansfield, LA. He graduated from Mansfield HS in 1992. Chris played tight end at LSU and was a top NFL prospect prior to suffering a career ending knee injury his senior season. After surgery and rehab, he returned to Baton Rouge and received his BS in Education in 1998. Chris, along with his younger brothers Melvin, and Greg all attended LSU on full athletic scholarships and played on the same team in 1995. Chris currently resides in Shreveport, La and is a devoted father and husband.
Riley Young is from from La Jolla, CA. She played beach volleyball at Louisiana State University and graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Marketing with a concentration in sales. Riley took advantage of the Shaquille O’Neal Lifeskills program at LSU and it’s resources. She also made personal development a priority and planned for her future after sports. As a result, she had several job offers before she graduated. She is currently employed by United Rentals as a Trench Safety Specialist.
When my professional sports career was over, I was prepared for the real world. I had a few different options: management position for an NBA team, management position for the NBA league office, a position with the Players Union or I could pursue a coaching career in the NBA.
